With great power comes great responsibility...

And boy do we have a whole lot of responsibility coming our way!!!

We're happy to announce that Cassie and I are expecting a little Haguelet!!

Disclaimer: We aren't sure if it's a boy or a girl yet... this was just a cute picture

Cassie is now about 14 weeks along and the little tyke should be coming sometime in mid August. We're super excited (and nervous) to start this new stage in our lives and are looking forward to the day when our little family of 2 nearly doubles! :D

Cassie is doing great and has passed (for the most part) the nasty sickness/nausea that comes with the first trimester. We had the chance to hear the heartbeat a few weeks ago, and from the sounds of it everyone is healthy and happy!

Yay family!!!!!

L.O.V.E.

Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails.

I hope you have enjoyed a few of our more goofy pictures. I apologize that we don't have more pictures of us in our posts... I guess I get excited about delicious looking food and decorations. :)

But on that note... I did want to show off a few of my homemade decorations for Valentine's Day. As students who don't exactly have infinite amounts of money to spend on decorating... I love the challenge to get creative and use what I have around the house to make beautiful decorations.

Tissue paper. Cereal Boxes. Construction paper. Skewers. Old textbook. Markers. Scissors. Cheapest decorations ever! :)

Not your normal dinner....

Wednesdays are a very stressful day for Dallin. He leaves for work at 4:30 in the morning. After work he goes to class, and then back to work until 9:30pm.

Last Wednesday I really wanted to do something special for Dallin. So I planned a wonderful dinner to have ready when he walked in the house.

I had almost everything I needed for dinner, but I needed to get a few extra ingredients; so I decided to take a short little walk to Smith's. After buying my things, I started the walk home. About halfway home it started snowing, which I was okay with... until I got home and realized I had left my keys in the house. LOCKED OUT.. in the snow! All the windows were locked, and there was no way for me to get in. Soo... I walked to our dear friends' home, and had them drive me to the MTC to get Dallin's house key.

Of course all of this took time... and dinner was not ready when Dallin got home. But it was worth a try right? At least he is loving and was willing to go into the bedroom while I finished dinner and got it all on the table. haha!!
