Kylie is TWO!!!

My baby girl turned two years old on August 13th. Where did the time go?

She is getting so grown-up.

A few things about Kylie:

We can understand almost everything she says. (finally!)

She loves to dress and undress herself. She is VERY independent.

She loves to color. Her recent obsession is drawing faces. She does them all by herself.

Can you see the eyes, nose, mouth and arms? :)
Kylie loves to have her hair braided, and to play with mom's hair. (she has combed and played with my hair for 20 minutes straight quite a few times. heavenly!)

Kylie LOVES swimming. No matter the temperature of the water, the ocean, the lake, grandma great's pool... she'll love it no matter what.

Kylie is the BEST personal trainer. On our daily runs she chants "go momma. go momma." and if I stop running she says "1,2,3 Go!" until I start running again.

Kylie can count to 13 perfectly, after that it gets a little sketchy.

Kylie loves to name everything that she can see outside... most of the time it makes her look like a total creeper.

Kylie's favorite food at the moment is fresh cherry tomatoes from the garden. As soon as she gets outside she goes straight for the tomato plants and will pluck off and eat every single ripe tomato.

Kylie LOVES puzzles. She has upgraded from chunky wooden puzzles, to actual puzzle pieces. :)

And our personal favorite, Kylie has started singing and making up songs. She sings a few phrases from Frozen, but mostly she makes up songs about how much she loves her dad, and chocolate milk.

Kylie is going to be a wonderful big sister. She got a baby doll for her birthday and carries her around all day, hugging her, rocking her, feeding her bottles, and wrapping her up in a blanket. She is the same way with her stuffed animals. It makes me so excited to see our two girls together.

Kylie held her baby while we watched Frozen... for the entire movie.

She is totally sassy, and we love her to death.

Our little love bug.
Helping mom make dinner. A nightly occurrence.

Lake Cocolalla

We spent a week at Lake Cocolalla with the Hague family for a little reunion. It was a great way to relax and unwind after the week of wedding-ness  for my little brother.

It was a party!! Kylie absolutely loved spending so much time with Grandma, Grandpa and all her cousins.

Here is how Kylie entertained herself the whole drive up to Cocolalla. Cleaning a balloon with a wipe...

As soon as we got to the Lake House, Kylie started partying with the cousins.

Kylie had her hair braided by Grandma, she loved it!

We spent a LOT of time down by the water. Grandma and Grandpa Great even joined us for a few days.

Kylie was so distracted by the water that she couldn't even turn around to wave.

Boating with daddy!!

How the Hagues like to tube...

Dallin catching some sweet air
and jumping over Andy
and smooshing Mitch
And my personal fav... Dallin wiping out! :)
Lori even found time to plan a surprise baby shower for Elayna and I. I felt so loved, and am so grateful for everything that we were given for our sweet baby girl #2.

The breakfast spread. Pretty sure I drank most of that gallon of chocolate milk... :)
Onesie cupcakes
Diaper baby!! :)

Branden and Kaylee are married!

My little brother got married on August 9th. Kylie and I got to be home with the family for the whole week leading up to the wedding. We had a great time and did lots of swimming, shopping, and lots of wedding prep.

Kaylee had a bridal shower on Thursday night, Branden dropped by afterwards to see all their spoils.

Friday night, the happy couple did the majority of their pictures to make their actual wedding day a "little" less busy, so here is Branden waiting to see Kaylee in her dress for the first time.

I love this one.

And then the big day arrived,

The happy couple!

Kylie is showing Branden angel Moroni

Wedding party goodness. (ok so I didn't actually get any of the bridesmaids... oops.)

Mom rocked the luncheon, but sorry... no pictures were taken as I was rather busy helping make sure things were going well and chasing a toddler.

The reception. It was beautiful and perfect.

The send-off.

And the after-party.... :)
