Growing Girls

McKenna Jane turned 3 months old on Saturday!!! And Kylie is now 2 1/2.

My how time flies.

McKenna can roll from her tummy to her back, bat at things, and will hold onto whatever she can get her hands on. She also is a total finger sucker. Her favorite it to try and squeeze both hands in her mouth at the same time. She doesn't have to be held to sleep anymore (hallelujah!!) but will still only sleep in the swing. She takes 3 really long naps during the day and gets up 1-3 times during the night to eat. Sleep training will soon commence... wish us luck!!

still loves sleeping on her belly

Kylie is growing like a weed. She wears dresses all day every day, talks and sings constantly, LOVES to do puzzles. She even does a 200 piece Cinderella puzzle. It's crazy. She also has decided she wants to be potty trained (except when we're at Grandma Heath's house...ha!) I no longer have to ask or remind her to go, she gets up and gets her underwear on and takes care of business on her own. WOOHOO!!!!

she climbed into McKenna's bassinet... at least someone uses it.

And she is obsessed with taking pictures on our camera... we look at a lot of these lately. :)

We love our girls, and they love each other. :)

Family Time

My parents came to Hillsboro for a few days.

Dallin and I got to go on a date! With NO children!! It was heavenly. We did black light mini golf and bowling. I had the best bowling game of my life. :)

Yup... that 143 is MY score!!

After a few days, we drove back with my parents to Kennewick.

Sadly... this trampoline pic is the only picture I have from the whole weekend.
We were just too busy having fun to pause for pictures. We took cousin pictures, ate good food, played games, did a lot of singing and dancing, and were able to see cousin Avery get blessed in church (the real reason we came home.) :)

We had a great time seeing everyone! Kylie adores her cousins! Audrey and Jon we missed you!

Valentine's Day

It was a pretty laid back Valentine's Day for us this year.

Dallin made us some delicious and adorable pancakes for breakfast. With strawberry jam, and a pink smoothie. :)

Notice, the"bouquet" of asparagus Dallin surprised me with?! So romantic!

I was actually really excited about it! And in his defense, he was going to buy me my favorite flowers but Fred Meyer didn't have any. He told me to pick some out while we were in Costco later that day, but I decided I wanted to spend the money on a snack instead, caramel popcorn. :) I had him pick out his gift too (he chose Oreos.)

Since we aren't eating sweets 6 days a week... we had to change our yearly tradition of scattering candy all around the dinner table on Valentine's Day. We opted for dried fruit instead. Kylie thought it was the greatest thing ever. :) We had amazing sweet potato black bean tostadas for dinner.

SO much love.
