Family.. isn't it about time?

Dallin and I were able to spend a lot of time with our families this last week.

We started off by spending time at the Oregon Coast with the Heath family. Dallin was able to stay for the weekend, and to celebrate Father's Day! I made him breakfast in bed, and made sure he didn't do any work that day. It was so fun to celebrate Dallin and dad and the wonderful father that Dallin will soon be. He had to get back to work on Tuesday (he was kind enough to let me stay with the family until Friday,) and we missed him so much the rest of the week!

We loved being so close to the ocean! We had fires on the beach every night, went crabbing, ate lots of delicious food, walked along the beach, and built a sweet sand castle.

Danielle and I gave ourselves princess tattoos

The family and I came home Friday morning and did a little shopping in Portland, where we met up with Dallin and the Hague family! After eating at the Cheesecake Factory, my family headed home and our weekend with the Hague's started!

We picked strawberries on Saturday morning (in the pouring rain.) It was still really fun, and we are loving the fresh berries! And then after drying out, we headed to the Portland Zoo. We had one major rain fall while we were at the zoo, but for the most part it was gorgeous!! And we got some really awesome shots of the animals, and the little girls! :)

and there's our little girl showing up on the heat monitor... :)
Everyone joined us for church on Sunday, and then we all ate dinner at our little apartment. It was quite the adventure fitting everyone in and finding space for people and food. But we made it work and everyone had a wonderful time!

We love our families so much, and are so glad we are close to them for the summer!!

Recent Obsession

This show is absolutely hilarious (even better than Finding Bigfoot!) Dallin and I get so excited when we see that there is a new episode. I don't know if there are words to describe; so... if you have time, we highly suggest you sit down, turn on Animal Planet and enjoy!! It's some serious live action.

Here's a little tidbit if you're interested :)

Cape Lookout

This last Saturday Intel put on a barbeque at the Oregon Coast for their interns. Dallin and I drove to the coast with some of his friends from work. We had a great day eating, flying kites, building sandcastles, visiting Tillamook, and going to a lighthouse.

We had such a beautiful day! I couldn't get over all the beautiful scenery.

Not to mention the sweet "octopus tree" that was by the lighthouse.... it was 120 feet in circumference!

THIRTY WEEKS!!

The fact that I am 75% done with this pregnancy is totally insane. 10 weeks is like... nothin'!!

Dallin and I are so very excited to meet our baby girl, and I must admit I am ready to be done with her digging her sweet little heels into my ribcage. :)

We had another ultrasound bright and early this morning, and it was wonderful to see how much she's grown (and to be reassured that she is still, in fact, a girl.) When the ultrasound tech was showing us the baby's fingers and toes, we got to see our daughter grab her foot and play with it. Meanwhile, her other foot was up touching her head... that girl is flexible!! I think we've got a dancer on our hands!! ;)

She'll be here before we know it!
WOOHOO!!!!

Memorial Day Activities

It was great to stick around for another day in K*Town and spend some quality time with the family!

Mom, Dad, Dallin and I started the morning off with a hike up Badger Mountain... I'm definitely not as in shape as I was the last time I hiked that!

We then went home for a deliciously huge breakfast!! SO tasty!

Danielle and Trevor decided to join Dad, Dallin and I for a few games of tennis, we've got some major skills in this family!

Dad and Dallin decided to have a little competition and see who could balance the most Rummikub tiles on their elbow and then catch them. It was quite entertaining! I can't even remember how many they got, but it was well over 10. (I don't even know if I could have done one tile...)

And here's the 29 week belly

and the blocked view of my toes.

We can't wait for all the great times that are still to come this summer!!
