Miskho Family Reunion

BEWARE!! Picture Overload. :)

This last week, Dallin and I got to spend time in Kennewick with ALL of my mom's side of the family. It has been quite a while since we had all been together, and we had a blast!

Here are a few highlights from the week.
-Building/shooting a huge potato gun (I only have pics on my phone... and I don't know  how to get them off... sorry!)
-Chopping down trees and pulling out very large bushes
-Boys vs. Girls kickball
-Baby Shower
-My uncle Tony's Wedding (and all the setting up for the wedding)
-Playing in the pool
-Family Pictures
-Taking the kiddos to the park
-19 of us being able to go to church together to hear Grandma Miskho speak
-Playing LOTS of games and eating nonstop

Mom made this amazing quilt.
Dallin was wiped out from looking at baby stuff...

Dallin's handiwork. They wouldn't let me on the ladder...
Danielle made the cake. Isn't it beautiful?!
SNO-CONES!!!

Dad put the whole cupcake in his mouth... I think he's in heaven.

And here's the 37 week belly... We're almost there!!!

Baby Prep

Well... we're only 5 weeks away from meeting our sweet baby girl!
Dallin and I are scared and extremely excited!

We have started buying a few big items that we will need and have enjoyed putting them together and imagining our beautiful daughter in them. Dallin has been practicing holding and transferring a stuffed animal frog to get ready for a real baby. It's so cute! I wish I had a picture of him...

With the very hot weather and lack of air conditioning, I have been loving spending time at the pool. It's not the best pool for swimming laps, but it is entertaining to watch all the cute kids learning to swim.

We can't wait to see and hold our sweet daughter. :)

Independence Day

Dallin and I had a wonderful 4th of July together!!

We slept in, worked on the car, and went for a long walk through the neighborhood Nature Reserve. You would never believe we were only a 5 minute walk from our house!

The lovely snail friend we found...

Our supposedly "short" walk turned into a 2.5 hour excursion. It was awesome.

Sportin' the baby bump
Dallin... workin' it on the boardwalk
We saw 13 snakes while we were adventuring... not my favorite part of the trip. You would think I would get used to the little guys... but I still jumped and freaked out every time. (yes, I know they're tiny...)

After we got home, we headed to the park to have a BBQ with some ward friends. It was great fun, and there was SO much delicious food!

After we ate, we headed to yet another park to play and watch fireworks.
Dallin was a hit with the kids, as usual.

The fireworks were amazing.

Killer Finale!!!
We had such a great day together!
I wish Dallin could stay home from work every day.

Recent Activites

June 26nd

Dallin and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary!!! Two years ago we were sealed in the Columbia Rover Temple for time and all eternity!

We can hardly believe that two years has gone by so quickly. To celebrate 2 years, we ate at 2 different restaurants. Macaroni Grill for appetizer and entree, and Dallin chose Krispy Kreme for dessert.

We then went back home, watched a movie and just had a wonderfully relaxing night together.

June 27th

I hit the 33 week mark!! Only 7 weeks left!
Holy Moly.

June 28th

Intel had another Olympic activity versus Nike. We got to go to the Nike campus (which is totally amazing!!) and the Intel and Nike interns had a dodgeball competition. It was pretty entertaining to watch. I'm not sure what the final score was...but it had to be close.

After all the planned games, they decided to do one final game, with all the interns, using the whole court.

Intel interns
vs.

Nike interns

Since the Nike interns were outnumbered 150 to 1... you can guess who won... INTEL!!
Even though there were so few of them, the Nike people hung on for a long time... it was fun to watch. It was a little dangerous to be a bystander, I got pelted a few times... but don't worry. I was very protective of my belly. :)
