Pumpkins and Super Halloween

We carved pumpkins. And they turned out awesome. :)

We can't take normal pictures.... especially at midnight.

Yes... we were superman and superwoman for Halloween (we already had the costumes from our race earlier this year. )

Kylie was kryptonite. And I may have dyed her hair bright green for the day. haha! It looked awesome, and came out super easy in her bath... no worries. :)

We had a fun time trick-or-treating at Intel. I didn't get many pictures because I left the camera in one of the breakrooms.. but it was still fun. :)

We also took Kylie trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. She LOVED it! And was really good at holding her pumpkin and walking up to the door and asking (in sign language) for more. haha! I didn't get pictures of this either... major fail at the picture taking this holiday.

But I DID get picture of Kylie eating her first piece of candy... a sucker that she sneakily figured out how to open and get in her mouth before I noticed...

 She's too smart.

Things

Here are some other random things that happened the last few weeks.

We went to a birthday party for my "twin." I met Joanna two years ago, and we've been best buds ever since. It helps that we were born on the same day, same year. :)

We also went to a WICKED Halloween party! We went as superman and superwoman, and brought these gruesome treats. We didn't take any pictures of their house... because we were totally overwhelmed by how awesome it was. haha! Maybe next year?

Kylie and I joined our friends Meagan, Bennett and Charlotte to go to the Portland Zoo. We had a great time! I didn't take a whole lot of pictures because I was busy chasing Kylie around... but it was really awesome.

This is about when she had had enough of the stroller...

I have had a little bit of free time lately, so I decided to start making Christmas presents. I think Kylie will love this. :)

Twenty Four.

Yup. It happened. I turned another year older.

And what a fun birthday it was!! :)

My wonderful mother came to visit for a few days, and took me shopping, cleaned my bathrooms, did dishes, watched Kylie so Dallin and I could get out on the town, took me to lunch, and let me win when we played games (something Dallin has yet to learn :P). I sure do love her!! Thanks for coming Mom!! Can't wait for you to be back in a few days!! (and this time she's bringing my dad!!)

Here are the pictures from the partyin'...

Kylie was showing off for Grandma... putting banana in her hair.
Not a fan of sourdough, Kylie?
Love me some Panera!!
Scarf anyone?!
Date night at the Portland Temple
SO GOOD!!!
I feel so blessed. :)

Big Girl, Leaves, and slight OCD

With the warm sunny weather, Kylie and I have been spending as much time outside as we can. She loves walking through the leaves, and piling them up on her lap. :)

Kylie has started going down the slide by herself.. even though she can't quite figure out the end of the slide. haha!

She has also started feeding herself. She does pretty well.

And unfortunately I have passed on a little of my OCD to Kylie. She was playing with these thread spools... and setting them on the tv stand with the sticker up, when she noticed that one didn't have a sticker. She decided it couldn't go with the other spools. Oh dear.
