Just a little something to brighten your Monday...

ONE MONTH

I can't believe I am the mother of a one month old.

She's growing up too fast.

I thought I would share a few things about our sweet little girl. :)

- Kylie is so much more alert these days!! We absolutely love all of the time with her looking at us. She is also a lot better at tracking objects.

- Kylie still fits into her newborn size clothes and is as adorable as ever!
- We are working on getting Kylie onto a schedule. She's doing a great job! She will sleep from 10pm to 6am with only one break to eat around 2:30am.
- Little Miss Kylie eats SO well. It is such a relief.
- She is a mastermind when it comes to getting out of her swaddles... but she won't sleep without them.

- My favorite thing these days is watching Kylie sleep, and seeing how peaceful she is. She also smiles and laughs ALL the time while she's sleeping. It's adorable.

Things Kylie Loves (aka whatever calms her down)

- being outside and going on walks
- sleeping

- dancing with mom and dad, especially when we are singing
- lights of any kind. Light from the window, lights from her toys, the phone, the computer....etc.

- the sensation of going up and down the stairs
- being in the Baby Bjorn (thank goodness!! otherwise NOTHING would get done around here)

- riding in the car
- any time with daddy, laying by him, giving him kisses, etc. (she even is okay with him styling her hair...)

- the sound of running water, the shower and the vacuum
- laying on her back and looking at things

- bath time, as long as the shower is running. haha!
- snuggling, especially up to Dad's neck... which totally drives him crazy. :)
- being a mini BYU Cougar... ok so this doesn't actually calm her down... but we know she loves it.

Things Kylie Doesn't Like So Much....

- wearing headbands/bows
- being held while we are sitting down
- getting dressed
- being set down, she would MUCH rather be held. (not that we ever want to put her down...)
- the taste of dad's fingers
- the hiccups

Photo Op!

Cassie has really been wanting to do a photo shoot of Kylie.  We tried multiple times, but never had the timing right to have Kylie stay asleep.  Finally everything worked out and we were able to get some good pictures of her at 2 weeks!  I also took it upon myself to play with our picture editing stuff :)  We're no experts, but I think the pictures turned out pretty good!  (It helps that our subject was so photogenic!)
