Lately

Kylie, Dallin and I drove to Kennewick for Labor Day. The trip was really so I could go to Jessica Shannon's (one of my greatest friends) baby shower, but it was great to see the family too (and to celebrate Trevor's birthday)! Jessica is adorable and we had a fabulous time catching up at her shower. It is SO fun to be pregnant at the same time as your best buds. :)

Mom and Danielle were out of town for Labor Day, but Dallin, Kylie and I had a fun time with the boys going mini golfing and getting Slurpees. Kylie was totally in heaven. And she was pretty good at golfing too! She even got the only hole-in-one of the day.

September 6th was the Hero-Up 5K and half marathon in honor of Keith and to raise money for cancer research. We didn't run this year, but we were volunteers that helped direct runners throughout the course. Kylie was having a blast letting us know "runners coming!" and clapping for them as they ran by. She got lots of practice because we saw the half marathoners 4 times and the 5K runners once.

It was so fun to have so much family in town, we love having everyone over to eat, sleep and watch BYU games (especially when we WIN!)

Kylie is hilarious these days. She sings constantly. Her favorites at the moment are Let It Go, Do You Want to Build a Snowman, I am a Child of God, the Alphabet Song, and 1, 2 Buckle My Shoe.

Yes... that is a plate full of chips. :)

Her favorite mode of transportation at the time is galloping. We gallop circles around the house constantly. 

And our personal favorite, she has started taking turns reading the scriptures at night. She will find a capital letter somewhere in the book, name the letter, say Jesus, and then amen. Tonight it was "B. Jesus. Amen" She is awesome.

Oh... and she thinks she rules the place and can steal mom's ipod and bed at any moment.

And lastly for a Baby Update! Our little girl is super squirmy and doing great! I had a 28 week check-up on a week ago, and was measuring ahead of schedule (I have been since the beginning...) so they have bumped my due date back into November (November 28th... my dad's birthday)! Not quite to my original due date, but we're getting closer. Hallelujah!

And that's about it for us right now! Can't wait for what the next few months have in store!

Parties!

Kylie turned 2 on August 13th. Woah!? She really isn't a baby anymore.

She turned 2 while we were at the Lake House. We had a little party with homemade icecream and berry dumpcake. She tried to eat every last drop. And she was so thrilled with all the wonderful gifts from her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and great grandparents.

We came home from the cabin on Saturday the 16th and had a second party at Great Grandma Miskho's house. It was a party for the majority of the summer birthdays in the family, so Grandma went all out with a bounce house, pool party, pinata and Tonya made an amazing dinner.

She got a little bit of pinata candy...

Kylie's last party was on August 23rd. We had a Minnie Mouse party for Kylie and her friend Elena who is just a few days younger than Kylie. I had a fun time decorating. We had a lot of our friends over for dinner and games and it was awesome.

She is in love with the stethoscope... so much so that she wore it to church...
