SNOW!

On February 4th, it started snowing in Hillsboro. I was so excited to have snow! We hardly saw any over Christmas/New Years.

It was the craziest thing because it wasn't just a little snow... it didn't stop. For like 5 days.

It was so beautiful, but it was pretty cold and SUPER windy, and Kylie was sick, so we didn't really go out and play. But it was still great. And it was nice to have Dallin work from home for a few days.

My mom and dad had planned a trip to the Coast, and were going to stop by our place for a few days. They didn't let the blizzard stop them from seeing their grandbaby. On Friday, Mom road the train to Portland and then took the Max to Hillsboro, so we wouldn't have to drive too far on the crazy roads (this area isn't equipped with things like snow plows and ice for the roads... which equals super danger!)

I feel bad we were stuck in the house the whole time she was here, but it was still fun. They even cancelled church, which is totally crazy... so we had an extra few hours of play time!

 

Dad drove down on Monday, stayed the night, played with Kylie and then whisked mom away to the Coast for a few days. They stopped by one last time on their way home on Thursday.

We sure do love them! Thanks for everything you did while you were here!
