Kylie is TWO!!!

My baby girl turned two years old on August 13th. Where did the time go?

She is getting so grown-up.

A few things about Kylie:

We can understand almost everything she says. (finally!)

She loves to dress and undress herself. She is VERY independent.

She loves to color. Her recent obsession is drawing faces. She does them all by herself.

Can you see the eyes, nose, mouth and arms? :)
Kylie loves to have her hair braided, and to play with mom's hair. (she has combed and played with my hair for 20 minutes straight quite a few times. heavenly!)

Kylie LOVES swimming. No matter the temperature of the water, the ocean, the lake, grandma great's pool... she'll love it no matter what.

Kylie is the BEST personal trainer. On our daily runs she chants "go momma. go momma." and if I stop running she says "1,2,3 Go!" until I start running again.

Kylie can count to 13 perfectly, after that it gets a little sketchy.

Kylie loves to name everything that she can see outside... most of the time it makes her look like a total creeper.

Kylie's favorite food at the moment is fresh cherry tomatoes from the garden. As soon as she gets outside she goes straight for the tomato plants and will pluck off and eat every single ripe tomato.

Kylie LOVES puzzles. She has upgraded from chunky wooden puzzles, to actual puzzle pieces. :)

And our personal favorite, Kylie has started singing and making up songs. She sings a few phrases from Frozen, but mostly she makes up songs about how much she loves her dad, and chocolate milk.

Kylie is going to be a wonderful big sister. She got a baby doll for her birthday and carries her around all day, hugging her, rocking her, feeding her bottles, and wrapping her up in a blanket. She is the same way with her stuffed animals. It makes me so excited to see our two girls together.

Kylie held her baby while we watched Frozen... for the entire movie.

She is totally sassy, and we love her to death.

Our little love bug.
Helping mom make dinner. A nightly occurrence.
