We all love her so much, especially Kylie. Kylie is so great with her little sister, she helps get her dressed, likes to (help) change her diapers, gives her the binky & toys, and tries to share her food.
sometimes she gets a little too loving... haha
Kylie also loves that McKenna has started talking and smiling at us; OK... we all love it. Kylie constantly says "talk to us Kenna" and then laughs hysterically when McKenna reacts. So cute.
McKenna is growing like a champ! She weighed in at 11 lbs. 2 oz. and was almost 23 inches long at her 2 month appointment.
She loves to be on her stomach and is really strong, but HATES to be on her back which makes sleeping at night a little rough. Although the last few nights we have had one 3-hour stretch where she slept in the swing and didn't have to be held. This is serious progress people!!
If only she were allowed to sleep on her stomach at night... lol.
She is starting to reach for things, follows things really well with her eyes, and can constantly hold her head up.
just watching some Disney music videos together :)
"Why are you always taking pictures, Mom?"
What joy she brings to our lives. We love you McKenna Jane!
And we love you too sweet Kylie! You are such a wonderful big sister!
And here are some more cute pictures from our time at home.
Snuggles with McKenna.
Dancing and Playing.
She loves sliding down the slide and knocking people over...
More good times.
Kylie's adorable reindeer cookie.
Grandpa and his girls
And we didn't get pictures of this... but Dallin and I got to go to the temple together and be there when our dear friend Sarah got her endowment. It was very special, and I was so glad to be able to be there.
We went up to the lake house on New Year's Eve and were able to stay for the weekend.
We celebrated the new year with the kiddos at 9pm, put them to bed, and then the adults played games and snacked until midnight when we watched the ball drop.
There was a lot of snow up at Cocolalla and we took full advantage. The lake was completely froze, so we were able to walk around and explore. The ice was so clear we could see the rocks on the bottom of the lake and it was smooth enough to ice skate.
Kylie loved sledding!
making snow angels
catching snow in her mouth
cleaning the rocks :)
We also took cousin pictures. They turned out pretty great. Only cousin Avery is missing.
