McKenna. 18 Months.

Our sweet, crazy McKenna turned 18 months old on May 21st.

She has so much personality, we love her tons.

At 18 months, McKenna weighs 24.75 lbs, is 31.75 inches tall and still only has 10 teeth. Hopefully the other ones are in there somewhere....

McKenna LOVES to play. She is constantly playing with Kylie and trying to get her to laugh. She's a little speed demon when chasing Kylie or running away from her... depending on the situation. Kylie and McKenna love  to play hide-n-seek. And they are surprisingly really good at it! She also climbs on everything! McKenna loves to play at the playground and go on the slides and swings. She also loves to go on bike rides and in the jogging stroller. She loves music, dancing and singing. It is always very loud when McKenna is around. :)

McKenna loves the idea of books, but she doesn't have the attention span to actually sit through one. She reads a page or so and then moves on to a new book. (which is the complete opposite of Kylie who has always been able to sit and read books for hours.)

She is very independent. She likes to pick out her clothes and try to put them on herself. She especially loves to get her shoes and socks when she wants to go outside. She loves to brush her teeth and get the toothbrushes and paste for her and Kylie.

At mealtimes she likes to be using utensils, but she still sets it aside sometimes because her hands are way more effective at shoveling food into her mouth. She can drink out of a cup, and will drink the milk from her bowl after she finishes her cereal in the morning. Kylie thinks it's hilarious.

She loves to eat our smoothies
McKenna can say quite a few words that everyone (not just us) can understand (10-15), and is getting much better at mimicking the words that we are saying. But she still likes to use her signs rather than talk. She definitely understands everything we ask her. We can ask her to put things away, or go grab something, or share with sister and she will do whatever we ask. Which is awesome.

"please?"
She loves nursery. On her first Sunday in there, she walked right in, sat down and happily played with toys. She now recognizes the nursery leaders and will run up to them and want to be picked up. We're glad she is such a people person. She is constantly waving and saying hi to everyone we see.

McKenna is a total ham. She's hilarious and she knows it. She always has us all laughing.

We sure do love you baby girl!

Don't worry no one was hurt in this picture... they are both laughing. ha!
