Our sweet and sassy Kylie turned 4 on August 13th. She is SO excited to be 4! (but the first thing she said to me on her birthday was "Mom, now I'm going to be 5!!") Slow down baby girl... I'm not ready for you to be so grown up!!
The night before her birthday we had a luau/birthday celebration with all of our friends. It was a million degrees outside, but we still had a great time. We were "celebrating" Kylie and her friend Elena, who have birthdays very close together, but really we all just like any excuse to get together, chat and eat delicious food. :)
On Kylie's birthday, we had special pancakes for breakfast, we decorated and played around the house while we waited for Dallin to get home from playing disc golf.
Then Kylie opened her presents. She got a Minnie Mouse bike and a little swimming pool. We spent a long time outside teaching her how to ride the bike, and then we spent the rest of the afternoon chilling in the swimming pool.
After McKenna woke up from her nap, we went to get bundt cakes for dessert, and had pizza at Pietro's Pizza. The girls loved playing the arcade games, and eating pizza. We also did the glow-in-the-dark mini golf, which scared the girls a little bit since it was pirate themed, but Dallin and I loved it. ha!
We finished off the night singing to Kylie and enjoying our bundt cakes while we talked to the Grandparents. It was a perfect day for our Kylie Maddison. Love you much!!
