Drive-In Adventures

Not too long ago Dallin and I found out about a drive-in movie theater that is not too far from our house. So... of course we HAD to go!

We went berry picking with a friend to start off the day. The raspberries are huge and delicious! We got around 4 pounds of berries for only $6!!

After coming home and watching a few too many hours of the Olympics, we packed our stuff for the movie and drove to Wendy's to get a much craved by the pregnant lady Frosty. At the drive-in you pay to see two movies, but when we got there they told us there was no more space for the first show. BUT that we could come back to try to get in for the second movie.

So, we set out to find a park to eat our dinner... had zero success... and ended up in the Fred Meyer parking lot right by the theater. We ate our dinner in the car while watching the drive-in screen (without audio, because we were too far  away to hear the radio broadcast,) and then had a grand time perusing the store. We found these awesome cups, and loved reading the children's books and looking at baby stuff.

At 11pm we headed back to the theater, and there were enough people leaving that we got in!! The second movie was The Dark Knight Rises. We had a great time watching the movie from the back of the jeep. Neither of us had ever been to  drive-in so it was a new experience. The movie was awesome!

We got home around 3am... and even though we were completely exhausted on Sunday, it was totally worth it!!

And here is our baby stuff. It has taken over our closet/house. It took me a while to sort through everything... but I think we now have everything and are just waiting on our sweet little baby!

Mini Golf

When Dallin got home from work yesterday, we decided to break up our everyday routine and do something different. So we went and played a game of mini golf.

It was so fun!!

I was trying to be a distraction to keep Dallin from winning...

AND... I won!! 

This is the only "sportsy" thing we've done when I have beat Dallin. haha!! (Can mini golf even be considered a sport?! lol!)

Miskho Family Reunion

This last week, Dallin and I got to spend time in Kennewick with ALL of my mom's side of the family. It has been quite a while since we had all been together, and we had a blast!

Here are a few highlights from the week.
-Building/shooting a huge potato gun (I only have pics on my phone... and I don't know  how to get them off... sorry!)
-Chopping down trees and pulling out very large bushes
-Boys vs. Girls kickball
-Baby Shower
-My uncle Tony's Wedding (and all the setting up for the wedding)
-Playing in the pool
-Family Pictures
-Taking the kiddos to the park
-19 of us being able to go to church together to hear Grandma Miskho speak
-Playing LOTS of games and eating nonstop
