May 12th was Mother's Day. Dallin made me feel so loved, he made breakfast, let me take a nap, made some incredible homemade brownies and chocolate dipped strawberries and a delicious dinner. Kylie was adorable and gave me lots of kisses and laughs.
church really wore her out... |
May 13th Kylie turned 9 months old!!! She has finally hit 14 pounds, which is almost twice her birth weight. woohoo! She is moving and growing and learning new things every single day. She claps, unloads EVERYTHING, high fives, does the touchdown symbol (dad's favorite,) kisses, walks, dances to music, cruises along the couch, stands on her own for a few seconds, and jabbers all the time! We love her so much.
We play this game everyday. All nice and put away.. |
throw everything on the floor... |
and look at it until mom puts it back in the drawer. |
We had a little scare at her 9 month appointment because the pediatrician heard some popping in her right hip and thought she might have some problems, but after a taking some x-rays and waiting to hear from the doctor, they told us everything seems to be fine and we'll just have to watch it. whew!
On the 13th we also got to Skype with Branden!!!!!.
It was so awesome to see his face, and hear his hilarious accent. He is doing so great, and he was SO thrilled to finally get to see Kylie. We can't wait for him to get home in 10 weeks and to spend time with him before he jets off to BYU.
During the week Dallin made a garden box for us, and we got our plants in. They looked pretty sad at first,
but here's what they look like now.
They are loving the rain.
On Saturday May 18th we had our free Craigslist piano delivered. We love it to death and play it every day. Kylie is even learning to play. :) It is out of tune, and needs to be refinished, but it is a part of the family and it's perfect.
