Christmas Eve and Day

We  came back from Leavenworth on Christmas Eve morning. We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Heath's house. Grandma Miskho joined us for some of the festivities. We opened a few gifts, acted out the nativity, read Luke 2, read 'Twas the Nigh before Christmas, set out cookies, and went to bed.

The donkey(Dallin) carrying Mary(Danielle)
Joseph(Dad) and our two angels
Shepherds(Mom and Cassie)
Angel bringing good tidings of great joy!

Wiseman(Trevor)

Baby Jesus(Jayce) with his gifts
Wonderful Narrator(Grandma Great)
That crazy donkey again...
Cookies for Santa!
And there is her pose again. :)
The next morning, we  let the girls sleep in, they woke up around 8:30 (Branden and Kaylee were up REALLY early trying to wake all of us up... but that wasn't happening. ha!) We opened gifts, got ready for church and went to church at 1pm to hear Kaylee play a duet for sacrament meeting.

"Hey cousin!! let me see what you have!"
She had to put her new dress on instantly.

The girls made these trivets for me. So sweet.

After church we headed to the Moody's to open gifts and spend some time with the Hagues.

We finished the evening with Christmas Dinner at Tony and Cindy's house. Everyone had eaten by the time we got there, but it was still nice to see and talk to everyone.

I love Christmas. What a wonderful time of year.
