Leavenworth

The Heath family had our annual Leavenworth trip December 23rd and 24th. Everyone was able to make it! I continue to be amazed that we find a way to make this work every year. :)

We did all our normal favorites (like the hat shop)

but the best was watching the girls sled on the little hill in the middle of town.

Mom got her workout in pulling these 2 around!

We did do a few new things this year.
We checked out a new toy shop downtown, it has a little play castle and a merry-go-round. I don't know that the girls enjoyed it very much,,,

We also ordered take-out from Applebee's on the drive back to the hotel rather than eating at "the" Mexican restaurant. It was actually kind of nice to get back, enjoy dinner in my jammies and then get the kids to bed at a decent hour. We stayed up playing games afterward.

The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast, played in the snow for quite a while and then headed home.
