Dallin's Birthday

We celebrated Dallin's 29th birthday this year! woohoo!!

We're all about celebrating birthdays for at least a week... so naturally we kicked off the celebrations by going out to dinner as a family 3 days early. The girls love Red Robin, and we love the free burger on your birthday, so it's a win for everyone.

On Sunday, February 26th, Dallin and I got to play a piano duet together for a special musical number in church. I like to think he enjoyed it as much as I did. It was a gift for us to be able to find the time to practice and play together so often the previous week.

Dallin's actual birthday was a busy day for us, but we tried to do everything we could to make him feel loved. Special breakfast. Gifts. Cards and gifts picked by each of the girls. A delicious dinner. And of course ice cream cake for dessert. :)

I got Dallin a new piano book. So as part of his present he got as much time as he wanted to play through his new music. :)

We continued the celebration when Andy and Julie and their boys came to visit us the next weekend (March 3rd and 4th). They brought a gift for Dallin and we celebrated with pizza and lots of great times. We also spent Saturday at the Zoo (and got a parking ticket! Happy Birthday...) What fun!

We sure love you Daddy! You are the greatest and the kids think you are the funnest, silliest, strongest man alive. I second that!
